- Arrowbear Music Camp: Orchestra and Jazz improvisation sessions
- Idyllwild Arts Academy: Chamber music, Symphonic, songwriting, and Jazz sessions.
- Drum Corps at the Rose Bowl: Saturday, June 29th. This year, The Cavaliers from Rosemont, IL will be traveling to the west coast to participate in the California shows! Other corps performing will be Pacific Crest (Brenden Yee), Santa Clara Vanguard (the 2018 World Champions), Blue Devils, Blue Knights, Mandarins (Matt Miller), and more! Tickets are now on sale. We will do group tickets again this year if you’re interested. Tickets are $20 each. Please let Sandy Miller know if you’re interested in a group ticket.

In honor of dedicated musicians and performers of many diverse styles and backgrounds, Marching Music Day celebrates all varieties of the art forms bringing us “music on the move.”
Drum Corps International founded Marching Music Day to celebrate and share marching music as an engaging and ever-expanding art form around the world, and to help celebrate Music In Our Schools Month. As an ideal play on words, March Fourth was chosen

Auditions for the summer tour will be December 1st and 2nd at Diamond Bar High School. Please see their website for more info.
Mandarins Drum & Bugle Corps
Auditions for the summer tour will be November 30th – December 2nd in Sacramento, and December 15th & 16th in Southern California. Please see their website for more info.

Rose Parade Band
Visit their website for all the details. Applications are accepted through October 1st at 5pm. Please note that the signature form must be mailed and postmarked no later than October 1st. Auditions will be held on Sunday, October 14th only! No make-up auditions will be held. Henry Vaughn, senior trumpet, marched with the Rose Parade band last year, if you’d like to ask him questions.

Tickets are still available for the LACO Concert this coming Saturday! This is your chance to experience this amazing performance! You can’t beat the ticket price of $8!
Please send in your payment by Wednesday, September 26th. Checks should be made payable to Yvonne Lim and marked with your student’s name. Yvonne will be distributing the tickets.
We have the awesome opportunity to see renowned violinist Hillary Hahn who will be performing with the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra on Saturday, September 29th at 8pm at the Alex Theatre in Glendale.
Our very own Ms. Munday will be performing in the orchestra as well!
