Revolution Prep is proctoring SAT and ACT practice tests at LCHS on two separate dates. The cost is $20 per test.
Saturday, January 18th AND February 1st, 2020
9am to 12:30pm
Choose: ACT or SAT on either date. Register for both dates if you wish.
Price: $20 each exam (Fundraiser for the LCHS Instrumental Music Program)
Bring: pencils, a calculator, water, a snack and a smart phone (if possible) to score your test before you leave!

After registering, please email Jean Stroud with registered test taker’s name, and with the referring instrumental student. Please do this step so the instrumental music student can get credit for your registration.

Congratulations to LCHS 
Band Junior George K. who successfully auditioned for and participated with the Pasadena City College Tournament of Roses Honor Band. They performed at BandFest and marched down Colorado Blvd. on New Year’s Day. Congratulations!

This is an easy way for your student to earn money in their student account for next semester and start earning dollars for next year’s activities!
Revolution Prep is proctoring SAT and ACT practice tests at LCHS on two separate dates. The cost is $20 per test and the full amount is given back to the MPA. For you and any students you refer, you will get the full amount put into your personal account.
Here is what you need to do:
- Spread the word below to your friends outside of the program.
- When your friends register, make sure that they email to say that you referred them, so you can get the credit.
- Get started now and be the first to let your friends know about this great opportunity to practice for the exam!

The Philadelphia Orchestra will host its 23rd Annual Philadelphia International Music Camp & Festival for students ages 10 through college age. The camp is held on the grounds of Bryn Mawr College.
Programs include:
- Symphony
- Piano Studies
- Solo Performance
- Chamber Music
- College Audition Prep
- Musical Theater
- Opera

Dear MPA Parents,
The Spartan Boosters Club has been a big and generous supporter of the LCHS Instrumental Music Program. Boosters raised the funds to help transform the music room into a recording studio, helped decal the instrumental music truck, and provides an annual support donation. Now, they need our help.
All they’re asking is for you to come and have a great time at BoostOberfest this Saturday, October 26th, 6-11pm. It’s going to be an incredibly fun event with authentic catered German food from a top German restaurant, open bar, and a top live Oktoberfest band, even a Stein Holding competition… All hosted under the stars at the beautiful Matarese residence in La Canada. A portion of the of the Auction proceeds will directly support the Instrumental Music Program.
Please come and invite all your friends to support the Boosters. They support us. This is not just for LCHS parents. The Boosters are building this to be a major annual event for La Canada!
The best way to get tickets is to join Boosters at the Spartan Club level ($400 per year) or above. This gets you two tickets to BoostOberfest, two passes to all home football and basketball games, and you can designate up to $100 of your donation to Music or any three programs Boosters supports.
Go to their website and click on “Join” to become a Booster and click on “Events” to purchase tickets for BoostOberfest.
