21st Annual Celebrate Music Dinner Show & Fundraising Gala

The 9-12 Dinner Show will be held at the La Canada Country Club on Saturday, February 22nd and will begin at 5:30pm.

A delicious dinner, silent auction, live auction, and performances by each of our 9-12 groups. It’ll be a great evening of food, friendship, and fantastic music. Please join us!

Tickets are $90 adults (early bird), $35 students, $25 for performing students, and $15 for the After Party. February 14th is the last day for early bird prices.

All persons attending the Dinner Show must purchase a ticket. Please pre-purchase… Walk-in tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and will NOT guarantee a seat.

Sponsorships/Tickets

Please consider becoming a sponsor to the Instrumental Music Program… It’s a donation to the best program on campus! Sponsorships must be purchased by February 14th for recognition in the program.

By becoming a sponsor, your seat will be reserved at the Dinner Show. This is the only way to reserve seats at the show.

Silent Auction

There’s still time to add items to the Silent Auction! If you have anything that you would like to donate or if you would be willing to contact local businesses to donate items to benefit the Instrumental Music Program, please let Jospehine Alvarez-Salazar know.

In years past we have had donations of Disney/California Adventure passes; Lakers Tickets; Dodgers Tickets; certificates to hair salons, Gift cards to restaurants; Music lessons; Tickets to Jimmy Kimmel; a weekend at Mammoth… Use your imagination – any donation is welcome.

This year we will again have the Silent Auction online. The Auction is now open and it’s time to bid, bid, bid!

Raffle Tickets

Raffle Tickets will be available soon! Cost is one ticket for $5 or 5 tickets for $20.

We have some great prizes and you don’t have to be present to win! So let’s get selling. All of these proceeds will go towards the fundraising of the Dinner Show.

Senior Tributes – DUE FEBRUARY 14th!

If your student is a Senior this year, you will want to put an ad in the Dinner Show program. All senior parents should have received a separate email this week. If not, we apologize and please consider this your notification.

This year we will have a 7/8 Dinner Show featuring our 7/8 Band and 7/8 Orchestra.

The evening will be held at La Canada Presbyterian Church and will begin at 6pm.

A delicious pasta dinner will be catered by Stella’s, a silent auction which will finish at the 9-12 event on February 22nd, performances by our 7/8 students and dessert! It’ll be a fun evening with beautiful music!

Please invite your family, friends, neighbors… Anyone you know.

Helpers are needed throughout the 7/8 Dinner Show. Please click to sign up. 9-12 parents and students are encouraged to help!

Please note that ALL performing 7/8 students must purchase a dinner ticket for their meal at a cost of $15.

Revolution Prep is proctoring SAT and ACT practice tests at LCHS. The cost is $20 per test.

Bring: pencils, a calculator, water, a snack and a smart phone (if possible) to score your test before you leave!

Each year, the Music Parents host a Dinner Show as a fundraiser for the Instrumental Music Program. This year, we will have two Dinner Shows… The first one featuring the 7/8 groups on Saturday, February 1st, and second featuring the 9-12 groups on Saturday, February 22nd.  The Dinner Show is our biggest fundraiser of the year. Without it, our program would not continue at the level it is today.
The 7/8 Dinner Show will be held at La Canada Presbyterian Church (Foothill Blvd.) and will begin at 6pm.

A delicious pasta dinner will be catered by Stella’s, a silent auction, performances by our 7/8 students, and dessert! It’ll be a fun evening with beautiful music!

Please invite your family, friends, neighbors – anyone you know.

  • 11:30am: Performance at California Adventure stage
  • 12:30pm: Dismissed back to the park (CA Adv. or Disneyland)
  • 7pm: Meet at the Compass in the Esplande (the space between the entrances of the parks)
  • 7:30pm: Depart Disney
  • 8:30pm: Arrive at LCHS, unload truck, dismissed
  • Students need to bring everything for a concert performance:
    • Concert Wear
    • Black socks
    • Dress shoes
    • Instrument
    • Music

SAT / ACT Practice Tests – A Fundraiser

This is an easy way for your student to earn money in their student account for next semester and start earning dollars for next year’s activities!

Revolution Prep is proctoring SAT and ACT practice tests at LCHS on two separate dates. The cost is $20 per test and the full amount is given back to the MPA. For you and any students you refer, you will get the full amount put into your personal account.

Here is what you need to do:

  • Spread the word below to your friends outside of the program.
  • When your friends register, make sure that they email to say that you referred them, so you can get the credit.
  • Get started now and be the first to let your friends know about this great opportunity to practice for the exam!
